What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, apply, or call us, we collect the personal information needed to assess and arrange a mortgage: your name, contact details, property address, income and employment information, assets and liabilities, and — with your consent — your credit report from Equifax or TransUnion.
We also collect standard technical information when you use this website, such as pages viewed and referring source, to understand how the site is used.
Why we collect it
To assess your eligibility, to present your application to lenders and insurers on your behalf, to comply with our obligations under provincial mortgage brokerage legislation and federal anti-money-laundering rules, and to contact you about your file.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with lenders, mortgage default insurers, appraisers, lawyers and service providers only as necessary to arrange and complete your mortgage.
Your consent and your choices
We ask for your express consent before pulling a credit report. You can withdraw consent to marketing contact at any time by replying to any message from us or by calling 888 350 0202. Withdrawing consent to processing may mean we can no longer act for you.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections. Contact us at hello@lendmax.ca.
Security and retention
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and held in access-controlled systems. We retain records for the period required by provincial mortgage brokerage regulations and applicable federal legislation, after which they are securely destroyed.
Cookies and measurement
This site uses functional cookies, and it counts visits so we can see which pages are useful. Our own visit counting sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser at all — it is first-party, and the identifier it uses is discarded within two days.
We also run Google Ads conversion tracking (gtag.js) on this site and on the application portal, so we can tell which advertising leads to an enquiry. That does set cookies in your browser and shares the pages you visited on our sites with Google. It does not receive anything you type into an application. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at adssettings.google.com, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, our own visit counting ignores you entirely.
